"Beacon came out within the hour to secure my water and presented me with several alternatives for repair"

I called Beacon Plumbing when I noticed my water service line had ruptured, making a small lake in my neighbor's yard, a waterfall in my driveway, not to mention making my water meter spin like a fan. Beacon came out within the hour to secure my water and presented me with several alternatives for repair. They were able to replace the entire water service line and get me back into service within 24 hours. With their use of "the mole" they were even able to save all of my fave roses, heathers and other prized plants which would have been sacrificed with a traditional trench. I'd like to give a shout out to Aaron and the "mole man" for their superior professionalism and customer service. They stayed until the job was done at approximately 2:00 a.m., and did a superb job of clean-up and restoration. The price was about what I expected. The service was way above. I will use Beacon for my next plumbing problem and highly recommend them to others. Thank you, Beacon.Maggie B

I've been a Beacon customer for many years and I've always thought they were a well run, good plumbing company. But today they totally hit the ball out of the park. Years ago I had a lot of work done and one thing that was done was a replacement valve for my stall shower. The valve was a good one (Wolverine Brass) and I was told I had gotten the Cadillac of valves and that I'd never have any problem with it and that it should last forever. It didn't. Almost from the start there was a VERY slow drip coming from the valve but I never wanted to incur the expense or go to the trouble of having them come out again to fix it. So I just put up with it and the few ounces of water that I wasted every month or three didn't make me feel overly guilty. It was also handy during the winter to keep my pipes from freezing. About a month ago I had some extensive work done to install a clean out valve and have my sewer line cleaned. That was necessary after the sewer line plugged up and we had a small flood. It took two days of constant work to set things right but Beacon was very prompt, very professional, and did a good job for us. And since they were out to my house and since it cost a fortune for the two days of work I thought I'd have the plumber take a look at the shower valve and maybe finally correct the problem. He had trouble getting the cover plate off (the set screw had been stripped and not by me) and he told me that he'd have to come out at another time to fix it since he didn't have the necessary parts and I'm sure he was tired enough from all that work on the sewer pipe. But after he left the dripping got much worse and after a few weeks I'd had enough and called Beacon, told them what had gone on before and that I'd at least like my slow drip back if not a complete fix and that I didn't expect to have to pay for the house call. I think I spoke to Bill and I was AMAZED at his reaction. He told me that he totally understood my frustration and that they would do whatever it took to make things right. He had David the plumber out to the house within 30 minutes and David was an unbelievably competent and nice man. He drilled out the set screw, replaced the valve, replaced the face plate, cleaned up some of the silicone caulk that had been originally applied when the valve was put in years ago, gave me advice about my furnace, and was in and out in no time and at no costs to me. Believe me when I say that Beacon has my business for life. They really went above and beyond the call of duty and I would recommend them to anyone with a plumbing problem.by erigul at Citysearch

We woke up to no heat in the house on a day when it was supposed to snow that afternoon...not fun when you have kids and multiple pets. Beacon Plumbing's magnet is on our fridge so we knew who to call. The dispatcher was SUPER courteous and promised to send a technician right away. Amazingly, within 15 minutes, Mike called to say they were on the way. Mike was extremely professional and able to pinpoint the problem very quickly. He observed that the furnace was pretty dirty and recommended regular servicing in the future. He explained that dust build up can cause the furnace to work harder, affecting efficiency. This can also shorten the life of the furnace. We had been very negligent in servicing our 12 year old furnace so this was valuable to know. It was great to work with a true professional who could instantly identify the issues, explain what needed to be done and fix the problem on the spot. I have worked with other plumbers who would run back and forth to the store to pick up hardware etc. When I asked if it would take long, Mike told me he had everything he needed in the truck and could get to work right away. We received a reasonable and easy to understand estimate. Mike and his colleague set to work on the repair and servicing of the furnace with meticulous care. We have worked with many plumbers in the past, but no other plumber has provided the level of professional service or expertise that Beacon Plumbing has. With Beacon, there is no doubt they know what they are doing and we would trust their judgment 100%. It's really nice to have a friend in the plumbing business that we can call on 24/7. I would HIGHLY recommend Beacon Plumbing to all my friends and neighbors. Thank you Beacon Plumbing!!mrsreed at Citysearch

quick service at a fair price I think.... my septic overflowed into my basement and this all happened after hours! I thought for sure I would need to wait until the next Monday to get a reasonable rate to fix it. I called Beacon and they came right out to estimate the charge (well worth the USD 50 fee to come). I was pleasantly surprised by the estimate; hired them and they fixed the problem. The USD 50 fee for coming wasn't charged either. I guess they only charge it if you don't hire them.christinablack

Dear Beacon Plumbing, Jeff McCoy's service was excellent; his diagnose to my pipe problem was professional and accurate. Because of my negligence, I forgot to turn off the water in my bathroom as he has instructed, it caused flooding in the bathroom. He didn't complain a bit and took fast action to take care of the issue. Jeff was very polite and patient with me during the process; he made a good representation for the company. I'm glad I chose Beacon Plumbing Company to do the job. I will recommend your business to my family and friends who need plumbing services! Sincerely, Grace MinGrace Min
