Jeff McCoy plumbed our new house and the work was wonderful. He came three times, so the inspector and Jeff were on a first-name basis. When it came to the final inspection, the inspector said,"I don't really need to inspect his work because I know it's so good." I insisted that he look at the "artwork" under the kitchen sink. All he could say was "Wow!" At the very end, my wife had mentioned that she wanted an outside faucet added. As Jeff was finishing, he asked Cheryl where she wanted the faucet located. She said, "that's OK, you're tired, don't worry about it." Jeff said, "Beacon Plumbing does the job 100%. You said you wanted the faucet, and you will have it." We are so happy with how it all turned out. The tankless water heater is amazing. We are Beacon Plumbing fans for life!

We had a leaky water heater and needed it replaced. Gary from Beacon arrived on time, calling first to let us know he was on the way. He was very thorough, professional and courteous. He was very knowledgeable and obviously extremely capable of handling the job we had for him. We are very pleased to have found such a wonderful plumber.

Talk about poor timing, when it's supposed to be really cold this weekend, our furnace decides to take a little vacation. Blowing cold air, then hot...then really cold! I called the company who been servicing the furnace since its install in '99. When the tech arrived, I initially felt he had no time for my questions - maybe because I'm a "girl" and why did I need to know these details. Anyways, after he spent some time one-on-one with the furnace, he told me that the circuit board needed to be replaced, but that he'd have to order one, and it could be "tomorrow or the next day"...and he'd be back to install it. Unable to provide me with a quote, he said he was going to leave the unit "like it is"... meaning disconnected -- i.e. not working, i.e. no heat. Remember, it's cold in here! When I asked why he said "because it will be ready for me just to install it". So, when my better half came home, he was less than thrilled to find that we had no heat. At least, prior to the tech's visit, the furnace worked part of the time. So...50 degrees inside...and cold. Gloves, hat, sweatshirt, socks...the works! After our experience, we felt strongly about not giving our business to a company that would leave us without heat. Company "A" now sent a different guy out to put the unit back together. Then I found Brian at Beacon! I have to say, if you're looking for a very nice, knowledgeable, competent and thorough service man, one who will explain everything in a way you feel you actually understand it, then Brian is your guy. Same day service, he diagnosed the problem, and went over and above and disconnected the outside hose, tested the PSI, etc. And, it's 6:30pm on a Friday night, when he'd rather be home with his family - he's working away. So, if you've ever felt that you'd like to find that one guy (or gal) that you could count on to help you with your heating or plumbing needs - I highly recommend Brian at Beacon. You can read other reviews, but remember they do a large volume of business. Personally, I don't think you'd ever go wrong with Beacon - I'd just recommend you ask for Brian! **sorry for the brevity of my review** :)

Had the sewage backing up in my basement in the tub after abnormally heavy rain (even for Seattle). Yeccch! I wanted the problem fixed as fast as humanly possible. I cared about the price, though. The first company that came to my mind was Beacon. Within 90 minutes they were at my house. They cleared the line, shot a video to be sure there weren't other problems and were done in no time. I knew what they were going to charge before they started clearing the line (it was a reasonable price and I would have paid more just to get the mess fixed and cleaned up). I've have to say Beacon lived up to its "stop freakin, call beacon" slogan.

We moved recently from Bellevue to Seattle. Our new place in Seattle had a few plumbing issues that needed looking at: a dripping shower in the master bedroom, hot water that seemed to run out too quickly, the electric furnace and the thermostat needed a check up, some dripping/leaking underneath the kitchen sink, and some overflowing on the top of the sink when we ran the dishwasher. We called Beacon Plumbing and they sent their technician Brom out. Brom arrived on time, put on shoe covers before entering our unit, and then looked at each item that needed fixing. He explained the problems and what needed to be done. Then he gave us a fixed price to do all of the work with all labor, materials and equipment included. If we approved the work to be done it was going to be covered by a 1 year warranty. We agreed to the price and then both my husband and I went about doing other things around the house. We didn't care how long it took Brom to do the work (since we knew how much it was going to cost) yet we also wanted to be able to use the shower, sink, etc., as soon as possible. Beacon got all of the items fixed, we weren't inconvenienced too long and they left everything neat and clean. If coming out that same day, being on time, doing the work at a fair price and in a professional manner matters to you, then we would recommend Beacon. Great service at a good value.
